Special requirements:
Scuba certification is not necessary for crocodile or whale shark portion of the trip as they are free dive only activities. There will be days of scuba diving in between; non-certified divers are still encouraged to join. You MUST be comfortable and have some experience in the water with large animals, ex sharks, rays, whales. Although no incidents have ever occurred every safety precaution will be made to ensure safe interactions with these ancient creatures. You must be able to follow the instruction and guidance of our trusted local guides or you will not be allowed in the water.

-Tip/gratuities For this expedition a non-refundable deposit of 30% ($1230.00) is due at time of making your reservation. Spots are on a first come first serve basis and will only be held with a deposit. The rest of the payment conditions are as followed. • A 30% deposit is REQUIRED to confirm the booking. • A 50% deposit is required 6 months prior to guest arrival. • The remaining 50% is due 6 weeks prior to guest arrival. Cancellation Policy: The Sales Partner must notify the Provider of any cancellation IN WRITING via e-mail. 30% deposits are non-refundable. For further payments, the following Terms and Conditions apply: • More than 30 days prior to arrival: Refund given for portions of the trip conducted at XTC Dive Center with the exception of Crocodile Encounters, no refunds will be given. For portions with third-party providers, their refund policy will apply. - 30-14 days prior to arrival-50% refund given, with the exception of San Pedro and Banco Chinchorro trips and crocodile encounters, no refunds will be given. For portions with third-party providers, their refund policy will apply. -Less than 14 days prior to arrival and after arrival - No Refund. No refunds for no-shows or unused portions of accommodations or packages. No refunds due to airline delays, strikes, or weather-related delays or cancellations, including hurricanes. All handling fees retained by financial institutions plus all secondary contracted provider fees for funds both into and out of XTC Dive Center, Caribbean Travel Services, LLC and its other affiliated companies will be the responsibility of the customer. A 5% handling fee will be charged for all refunds on credit cards. There will be no refunds for reservations during the week before or after the Christmas, New Year & Easter Holiday.
